Judy
Evans explores light and movement in her landscapes and captures inner
light in her portraits. She observes the passing of the seasons both in
the land and in the human face. She grew up in Arkansas and currently lives
and paints in Brooklyn, NY. She paints primarily in oils or pastels and
accepts portrait or landscape commissions.
Additionally,
Judy has worked as a scenic artist collaborating with production designers
to help create settings of major motion pictures, network television, and
opera and theatre productions for directors including Martin Scorsese,
Ang Lee, Spike Lee, Woody Allen and Tim Robbins.
